Welcome to the website for Advanced Placement and Pre-Advanced Placement at Robbinsdale Area Schools
| What is Advanced Placement or AP? | ||
| The Advanced Placement (AP) Program is a voluntary program that offers students an opportunity to take one or more college-level courses while still in high school. AP isn't just for top students or those headed for college. AP offers something for everyone. Students can choose from a whole host of courses and exams in 22 subject areas, including art, computer science, geography, government and politics, music theory, world languages, and more. For inquisitive students, AP touches on a universe of knowledge that might otherwise remain unexplored in high school. Each course is a unique learning experience in which students explore subjects from a variety of perspectives—including their own. See the links on the left for information about the Advanced Placement program at both Plymouth Middle School and Armstrong High School. AHS AP students can register to take AP tests starting on February 25, 2012 through March 25, 2013. New to AHS- Total Registration.
